King Charles Coronation May 23 - Crown on red velvet

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying the lighter evenings now that the clocks have gone forward and the feeling like spring is finally on its way – yay!

I’ve been busy as usual attending markets and events and I’ve also been busy in my purple shed making and creating, and now I’m not only stocked up with super cute rabbits and bunnies for Easter… but I have some very exciting news!

Coronation of King Charles – 6th May 2023

I have been preparing for the Coronation of King Charles in May 2023.

As you are all aware sterling silver in this country is hallmarked for authenticity and my items are no different.  Everything over 7.8g is sent to the Assay office in London for a hallmark.

The Hallmark consists of a number of marks: The sponsors mark in my case me and it shows as JLD (Johanna Louise Davison); The standard mark ie the metal so 925 for silver; The Assay Office mark – a lion for London; A letter which depicts the year – 2023 is “y”; Maybe a traditional mark such as a lion for sterling silver and occasionally a commemorative mark.

These commemorative marks are rare and designed to depict an event of importance in our country so for a limited period we have the option of having the coronation mark.  This is a new design and shows King Charles’ profile.

And guess what…

I’ve had a very limited amount of King Charles Crown Pendants that I have designed and created to celebrate the coronation, hallmarked on the front with the profile of King Charles as a feature!

Each pendant has been hallmarked with the new mark but they are limited – first come, first served!

They will be on general sale at the Markets and Events I attend in May (if they haven’t sold out) but as a valued customer, you can reserve yours for an early bird offer price of £59.99 to include a chain as a little thank you from me.  Have a look at the images below

Normally I don’t charge for posting my jewellery out to you, however, as these very special Crown Pendants come in a wooden box, inlaid with black velvet and topped with an embossed stamp with the letter J for Joon Silver there is a postage charge of £5.00 per item.

Alternatively if  you want to reserve your piece by purchasing the pendant, then you can collect it from me in person when I am attending one of the upcoming Markets and Events.  Just choose “Local Pickup from Market” at the checkout and let me know in the Special Instructions box at the checkout which market you will be coming along to.

Any questions just get in touch and have a lovely Easter
