I know I shouldn’t say it but with Valentines Day just taken place, I am a little fed up making hearts and romantic gifts so I decided to go completely the other way and have been busy the last couple of weeks with sheep and dragons.
Of course I have !!!
Y Ddraig Goch
Its St David’s day here in Wales on the 1st of March and we are very proud of having the best and scariest flag in the world. Its a massive fire breathing mythical beast, our dragon, y Ddraig Goch is shown in the photo above.
So I decided to make my wrap ring design and incorporate the dragon. Showing the dragon on the front the ring has a hidden message inside – Welsh & Proud. They are the perfect gift as one size fits all, they adjust to fit. Available for both men and women.
Wales has a lot of sheep!
Keeping with the Welsh theme, no one has ever denied that we have more sheep than people in Wales, about 3 to 1. So in deference to our 10 million sheep, I’ve created a cute sheep pendant.
As with everything I make it’s made from sterling silver 925, drawn cut and soldered, each one handmade. I made a small flock this week and each one came out slightly different, maybe a quirky look, or a tilt of the head they are unique but so cute.
